[fic] Reborn, "Identity" - Advent 1
So, I was thinking, I should write a fic a day! For adventy purposes or something. How functional this will be with me now working full-time-ish I do not know. But where I can, I will also do it from people's requests on their wishlist memes o/.
So, here's one that was on zanzou_chan's (well, sort of -- she requested any girl/Tsuna XD)!
Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Safe for work-ish?
Chrome settled on him with a distant gaze of unconcern in her visible eye, not smiling but not frowning either. Tsuna let out a tiny "hiii" of panic, but that was less out of fear for himself and more due to the fact that he wasn't sure what to do or say or really what Chrome even wanted.
"Tsuna-san," she said, softly.
"W-what? Um, is there anything I can -- is there anything you want?"
She was wearing her school uniform and he could see more of her thighs than was really fair. He tried to look away, found himself staring uncomfortably at the wall. His cheeks were red; he was sure he was blushing. There was a twitch against his leg and he glanced back; one of her socked feet was brushing the side of his knee, toes curled.
"Tsuna-san," she said. "I'm sorry. Does this bother you?"
"No, no!" he said instantly, and wondered why; it really, really did. "I just don't know what you want."
"You," she said.
"Is that forward?" she asked, and put a hand in the centre of his chest. "Mukuro-sama does as well."
Tsuna swallowed. "I don't want Mukuro, though."
"No," she agreed, easily. "I know."
"Tsuna-san, might I kiss you?"
"Ah--ahh!" he said. He thought, panicky, that he should refuse. He'd never kissed a girl before, and he'd always imagined his first kiss would be with Kyouko. Not that he expected Kyouko-chan would ever kiss him, and the knowledge of the unlikelihood had kept him from ever fantasizing about it effectively. He'd usually get to the point when he'd lean in and be unable to imagine further. "I, um. I--"
And then Chrome was leaning down, her body dragging against his, touching her lips lightly against his own.
Kisses on TV were wet and passionate, or shy and blushing; this wasn't really either, except maybe the blushing part, and that only on his side. It was instead a dry brush of lips on lips that left his own feeling strangely sensitive when she pulled back a moment later, itching kind of. Kyouko-chan! he thought in desperate, squirming anguish.
Chrome looked down at him, and her brows drew down slightly like she was confused or hurt somehow.
"I... I don't know what to say," Tsuna admitted after a long moment, and he reached up, touched her face, slid his hand up. His fingers brushed her eye patch; he wasn't sure, for a moment, what to do; move on, take it off, stop there.
"No," she said abruptly, and jerked her head up, scrambled to her feet. She seemed distraught, as much as Chrome ever seemed distraught; scooped her trident off the floor where it had been pressed to her leg and clutched it to her.
Tsuna felt breathless, like she'd hit him instead and the air had rushed out of him. "Did I do something wrong?" he asked.
"No," she said again, and ducked forward, hiding her face in a shallow bow. "Good afternoon, Tsuna-san," she said, and then ran for the door, socked heels kicking out girlishly.
"Ah," he said, and sat up. He wished he knew if this meant Chrome liked him.
